Astika's  graphic interests are in shape and form, light and shadow - the true subjects of black and white photography. Monochromic imagery invites the viewer to focus and concentrate. While color captures the emotional experience of the senses, black and white dives into  the intellect and touches the quieter sensations of the psyche, thus offering a glimpse of the timeless as experienced by the psyche.
